Most European universities and recognition bodies require sworn translations of your degree certificate and academic transcripts. Some also require a translation of your birth certificate as proof of identity.
In Spain, homologacion converts a full foreign degree to its Spanish equivalent; convalidacion recognises individual subjects. Both may require translated and apostilled degree certificates and transcripts, managed by the Ministry of Education.
Italian universities and the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) manage qualification recognition. Most require sworn translations by a Traduttore Giurato and often apostilles on originals.
French universities (via ENIC-NARIC France) and German institutions (via Anabin and individual Anerkennungsstellen) each have their own requirements. Sworn translations of all academic documents are typically needed. Confirm with the specific institution before ordering.
